With this promotion, you can earn as many as 20,000 Hilton Honors points on car rentals with Enterprise, National, or Alamo at participating locations worldwide.
The promotion date keeps being extended. .
Enterprise Inc., which includes Enterprise Rent A Car, National, and Alamo, has a partnership with Hilton hotels.
That means you can either earn car rental points or hotel points.
They also have a partnership with Amtrak and Flying Blue.
This offer is higher than their usual offer.
In the past, this promotion only offered as much as 7500 points.
Like I said in earlier posts, I plan to hit the road a lot soon.
I often rent cars for my road trips.
I don’t like putting extra miles on my car.
I plan on taking advantage of this promotion.
I love anything that gets me airline miles or hotels points, although you always need to do the math to make sure you are getting the best deal.

Car Rental Points vs Hotel Points
This offer is for the car companies owned by Enterprise, Inc.
This includes Enterprise, National, and Alamo again.
Keep in mind, these three programs have three different loyalty programs.
You can credit points and credit between Enterprise and National but not Alamo.
The National Emerald program is usually outstanding and loved by most points and miles enthusiasts.
I am a member of all three programs.
Most of my road trips do not involve an airport, and National is usually only at airport locations (at least where I live).
Normally, you earn:
- 1 point per dollar with Enterprise
- 1 credit for each qualified with National
Normally, this promotion is usually only 500-1000 points base points and the same amount of bonus points.
When renting cars with Enterprise, Inc. (Enterprise, National, or Alamo), you can choose between earning frequent flier miles, hotel points, or car rental points.
This is a good deal with Hilton, so I will credit my points to Hilton for this promotion.
Enterprise, Inc. also has a partnership with Flying Blue and Amtrak again.
Use A Reward Credit Card and Amex Offer If Possible
You won’t be able to use a cashback site because the rental must be reserved through Hilton.
The last car rental I did, I used TopCashBack though.
You can check to see who has the best rate for your car rental company.
Make sure to use a credit card that covers primary car rental insurance like the Chase Sapphire Preferred.
Some people are targeted for Amex offers on Enterprise, Inc. cars (Enterprise, National, and Alamo).
Check your Amex offers.

Summary
This offer is usually only up to 7500 points with 500-1000 base and bonus points, so a maximum of 20,000 per rental is great.
I will be taking advantage of this offer.
While the National program is what most people love, I will be renting from Enterprise Rent A Car.
Right now, I am renting cars for road trips and not from airport terminals yet.
National tends to be only at airport locations (at least in my area) again.
My average daily rental is about $40-50 per day,.
Enterprise points are worth 5 cents, so that is $2-4.
Hilton points are worth .50, so this would be worth about $20 and the better deal.
When this promotion is not as good, you can choose between hotel points or car rental points.
I tend to prefer hotel and airline miles to car rental points.
I find that car rental points don’t get me as much (upgrades only up to full size cars, etc.), and you can get car rental elite status with a credit card.
When renting from airports though, since National will let you pick your car and drive off with something fancier, you may prefer to use their rental points instead of hotel points when the value will be about the same.
